Online Services


We have fantastic ways patients can interact with us online:-


Click on the picture above to access our 'Klinik' online consultation platform. 


Use the NHS App to:

  • get advice about coronavirus – get information about coronavirus and find out what to do if you think you have it
  • order repeat prescriptions - see your available medicines, request a new repeat prescription and choose a pharmacy for your prescriptions to be sent to
  • book appointments - search for, book and cancel appointments at your GP surgery, and see details of your upcoming and past appointments
  • check your symptoms - search trusted NHS information and advice on hundreds of conditions and treatments, and get instant advice or medical help near you
  • View your medical record - securely access your GP medical record, to see information like your allergies and your current and past medicines
  • register your organ donation decision - choose to donate some or all of your organs and check your registered decision
  • find out how the NHS uses your data - choose if data from your health records is shared for research and planning 

Please download the app and register - available on both Apple and Android devices. 


You can have your own login to access parts of your record online without the need to contact the practice for test results, book an appointment or request your medication.  See "Patient Access - How to Sign up" further down this page for more info.

"Patient Access" allows you to access a range of services via your computer, mobile or tablet. Once you have signed up, you will be able to:

  • book or cancel appointments online
  • renew or order repeat prescriptions online
  • view parts of your GP record, including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results

You can still contact the practice by phone or in person, this is just another option, which other patients have found is more convenient and saves them time. More information including “how to” leaflets and videos of patients and why they are using GP online services are available at

PLEASE NOTE - You will need an individual email address and not a shared email address. If you share an email address you could consider proxy access please enquire about this at any of our reception desks. 


Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, we are now doing much more of our work through telephone consultations. Sometimes it is useful for the nurse or doctor to see a picture, or you may feel it will help them understand your problem. This is particularly the case with skin lesions or rashes. To help us and you we will no longer be accepting photos through our email address. All photos will have to be sent through a text message reply. Any photos sent via email will be returned unopened and you will be directed to send them through Klinik.

Sometimes you may have a skin problem in an intimate area such as on breasts, genitalia (vagina & penis), or the anus (back passage). In this case please arrange a telephone consultation first. The nurse or doctor will then decide if they need a visual image and arrange this either through a face to face appointment, photos via Klinik or via video consultation. Please DO NOT send intimate photos without talking to a nurse or doctor first.

If your child has a rash in an intimate area we will usually arrange for a face to face consultation if we need to see the rash. DO NOT take photos of your child’s genitalia or anus and send them to us, this will leave you open to prosecution for making indecent images of a child.

How to take a high-quality clinical image

  1. ​​Ideally, ask someone else to take the photo.
  2. Use a plain background.
  3. Ensure good overhead lighting.
  4. Take a wider image to establish location and then a close up of the lesion or rash. Different angles can help demonstrate the size/shape of a lesion.
  5. Ensure the images are in focus.

Welcome to Carn to Coast Health Centres


Across the NHS we find ourselves faced with unprecedented levels of demand which continue still to increase. As a GP surgery, there are only so many calls we can receive and only so many staff we can physically accommodate to take these calls.  Within those limits, we endeavour to answer calls as quickly as possible. You may find that, if the waiting period is very extended, you will be asked to call back rather than hold. If you do find yourself in a long queue, we do appreciate that this can be frustrating but, while you have been waiting for an answer, our care navigators have been busy doing their best to help those who have queued in front of you and they deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.

About us 

Our practice has four surgery sites formed out of the October 2015 merger between Pool Health Centre and Homecroft Surgery (inclusive of their branch surgery at St Day) and a merger with Trevithick Surgery, Camborne in April 2018.  To view our practice's "Statement of Purpose" please click here:- Statement of Purpose
